How is the production process with the powder paint?

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS OF POWDER PAINT

STEP 1

We start the process with the ignition of the oven at the appropriate temperature, depending on the material and element, to which the coating process will be applied. In our case, we warn, that thanks to the confidence of our customers, our oven does not have time to cool down.

STEP 2

While the oven is heating to the set temperature, the materials will be prepared. In the loading area, we place the pieces, where they are distributed in the tools or hooks, respecting each other the distance and the degree of inclination for a better degreasing and a better paint adhesion.

STEP 3

By means of the air transport circuit the pieces will pass through a pressure degreasing tunnel or pre-treatment tunnel composed of three phases:

• Phosphodesengrase,
• Washing with treated water,
• The rinse.

STEP 4

They then pass through a humidity drying oven where, by circulating hot air, the surface moisture of the pieces will dry up.

STEP 5

Once dry, the pieces will pass through the robotic paint booth where the powder paint will be applied by electrostatic equipment.

STEP 6

Later and as a final process, the pieces will enter the polymerized oven where, at a temperature of 180º C, they will take on their final appearance.

* Polymerization temperatures will vary depending on the manufacturer’s instructions. At the exit of the previous step and after cooling, they will be discharged.
